Friends of Grace Home Educators, Inc.

Middlesex, MA

We welcome families from our surrounding area to join with us and encourage each other on the homeschooling journey. We are a Christian fellowship of families from many area churches in Middlesex county, Massachusetts. We are affiliated with MassHOPE and HSLDA. We offer a support group which meets occasionally, some organized field trips, a website with active forum conversations, and a homeschool Cooperative which meets for 24 weeks during the school year on Fridays in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Registration for our cooperative is in June of every year. We will be excepting new participants to the cooperative at that time. Support group membership is available at any time during the year.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the supreme and final authority for all faith in life. That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through the shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His eminent bodily return in power and glory. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost. We put our faith in Christ alone, not trusting in works for our salvation. That salvation is a free gift of God brought to the sinner by grace; received by personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ whose death on the cross paid the penalty for our sins. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict mankind, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union. Finally, we believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in the Lord and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist, outside the aforementioned, should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.
